Travel into the world of ALMNC and soundscaping

No matter what people tell you, words and ideas can change the world...
— Robin Williams

On a (very) hot summer day in July, in my very own hometown of Bakersfield, CA, I had the genuine pleasure to check out one of the last concerts for The Bakersfield Museum of Art's "Art After Dark" summer series: featuring local band, ALMNC

At the end of this post, you'll find a link to hear their first single, N8. Let me begin by saying that if they are playing anywhere near you, you -must- go if you love music and presentation. I've listened to their self-titled debut album, available on all streaming platforms. Physical copies of their media are also available through their website too!

If you're wondering what soundscaping is, here's my loose definition: Soundscaping is the sound of your life and the world surrounding you. It's like an audible vision of trees blowing in the breeze under the summer sun, the brightness of flower fields blooming everywhere you look, the sun setting across an ocean horizon... Evan Ware & Zach Spier do a masterful job of this, in my humble opinion.

Have a look at some of the images I took that night, listen to the music, & judge for yourself. If you enjoy what you see, pick up an album, check out a show, and contact me for your event needs.
